This first example is the Amazon.com associate program. I have selected a list of books that I think you would be interested in, because you have gotten this far into a web page titled "How do people make money on the Web". If you want to buy one of these books, click on the link, then look for the button that adds the book to your shopping cart. If you add the book to your cart as the first thing you do, I get a percent of the list price.
